While we look at every new market from an expansion opportunity viewpoint, we believe strongly that compliance is a key ingredient for success.  Every day we find companies with little or no compliance program and no one on staff with the proper training or understanding of the legalities of operating internationally.

Our compliance centric approach consists of:

  • Ensure proper registration with US agencies for international business, including but not limited to Department of State Defense Trade Controls – International Trafficking in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry Standards (BIS), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).
  • Registration and set-up of entity if needed conduct business in foreign territories, or registration of foreign agent.
  • Identify and engage legal counsel as needed for specific requirements, products, and or territories.
  • Identify and properly classify products and services your company provides as to properly and efficiently submit for licensing and approvals when and where needed.
  • Develop organization Compliance Program including policies and procedures for the flow of compliance related information and approvals within the organization. 
  • Work with management, sales, and administrative staff to create a compliance culture through inside and outside training, doors-wide-open policies, regular discussion specific to compliance, and use of trade networks focused on industry specific compliance.
